Recruitment Process

LIGHT & HOPE offers effective methods for searching, recruiting and screening candidates according to our client's specific needs and requirements. The candidates have to undergo a very thorough screening process before they are referred to our clients for final screening and acceptance. Constant communication with our clients is the key to ensuring that the best candidates are hired for the jobs.

LIGHT & HOPE offers permanent placements where candidates are directly recruited by our clients. We ensure that the best talent is sent and that all travel and foreign government procedures and pre-deployment arrangements are met

LIGHT & HOPE understands that each client is unique and has special needs. Because of our flexibility, we can come up with an arrangement that incorporates the various aspects of our different services. This, in turn, allows us to customize our services to better respond to our client's particular requirements.

LIGHT & HOPE maintains a data bank that consists of pools of qualified applicants who are ready for deployment in various categories. These categories include engineering and project management, site management and administration, field and site engineers, highly skilled construction workers, industrial personnel, office personnel, health care workers, hotel, restaurant and fast-food personnel, general services and production staff.

Step 1: Submit Basic Documents

To apply for a position you will need to initially submit the following documents:

  • Resume/CV/Bio-data
  • Copy of your Valid Passport
  • Copy of your Educational Certificates
  • Copy of your Work Experience Certificates

You have the option to send these documents as:

  • It would be better to submit them in-person at our office.

We often receive a large number of applications for any given position.

If after applying for a position and you have not heard from us within two (2) weeks, please call us.

Step 2: Interview Process

If your skills and experience look suitable for a current opening; we will be in touch with you to arrange an interview with the employer.

You will most likely go through an interview with the employer over the telephone or via web cam.

We will arrange the interview for you and inform you in advance.

Step 3: Job Offer

If you are successful in becoming a preferred candidate, please bear in mind that we do not present verbal offers Your offer of employment will be made with a written employment agreement, sent us by the overseas employer. As soon as we receive the job offer letter, we will contact you immediately.

Step 4: Work Permit & Visa

After the issuance of job offer letter, we will apply to obtain a work permit.
It will take about 2 to 4 weeks to get a decision on your work permit application.
You must have the work permit, before you can apply for entry clearance visa.
Upon the successful outcome of your work permit application, we will then collect your original work permit.
Once you have paid the service fee, we will send your original job offer letter and work permit to you.
Then you have to go to the nearest embassy or consulate to submit entry clearance visa application form.
If your visa application is accepted, your passport will be stamped for clearance.
